Backtesting is live 🚀

Myst Platform release (2022-01-31)

We have released an updated version of the myst-alpha Python library. Please upgrade your myst-alpha package to the latest version at your earliest convenience. Upgrading instructions can be found here.

✨ NEW Backtesting: We are very excited to include backtesting in this release! You can now run backtests using the Myst client library and web application. Running a backtest generates model predictions for a historical period of time that can help you determine whether a model satisfies your needs. Backtests in the Myst Platform support fully customizable, walk-forward cross-validation and can be tracked easily in the Myst Platform’s web application. Backtesting instructions are here.

Additional update in this release:

  • 🔧 FIXED Error messages now distinguish between issues that are Not found (404) and Unauthorized (403). For example, the Platform will now raise an Unauthorized (403) error if your project is shared with only viewer access but requires editor access.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out via the chat embedded in the Myst Platform UI or email us at [email protected] with questions or feedback.

We appreciate your partnership!
