Big latency improvements ⚡️ and Web Application updates

Myst Platform Release (2022-09-08)

Hello Myst Platform users,

We have two changes to the Web Application and additional latency improvements for you!

⚡️Enhancements:

  • We are continuing to improve prediction latency. One of the changes we released today to improve latencies impacts the way jobs are created. Now, when you deploy your graph, each policy will create only one job, associated with the node to which the policy belongs (typically a model node and a forecast node). Previously, the platform would also create policies for all upstream nodes, as well.
Note: You can still query upstream nodes for data, even though you will not see jobs for these nodes in the Monitor tab. Additionally, all node run results will be created and stored as usual.
  • You can now change the time zone of your fit and predict cron timings for backtests and HPOs in the Web Application, just as you can set these time zones for in the client library.
  • When you query a node in the Web Application, the graph will default to the most recent as-of time based on the node’s sample period – instead of defaulting to the top of the hour.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out via the chat embedded in the Myst Platform or email us at [email protected] with questions or feedback.

Thank you!
Ellery and the Myst team
